ABOUT US

Eastwood Play and Learn is a 6 space Early Learning Home located at 111 Eastwood Drive in Woodstock, NB.  Open from 7:30 until 5:30 Monday through Friday.

We have been licensed since July 2008.

Owner/Operator Catherine Kuwertz is married to Kurt and they have two children, Margaret and Daniel.

 

Catherine started babysitting children when she was 12 years of age.  Once she graduated High School, she studied and became a certified Home Care Worker.  She helped care for a wide range of ages with various needs but always found it difficult saying good bye to the family and the person when their end of life came.   When her second child (Daniel) was born, she decided to enroll in the Early Childhood Education Course offered through the New Brunswick Community College.   She graduated, with Honours, in June of 2008 and started Eastwood Play and Learn directly after.
